Anti-wrinkle & Jaw Clenching Injections.

Looking for a smooth face and relaxed jaw? Anti-wrinkle injections might be the answer!

Anti-wrinkle injections are a non-surgical treatment for helping to smooth lines and wrinkles on your face. They are also an excellent treatment for relieving tension headaches caused by grinding and clenching due to stress.

What is involved in anti-wrinkle injections

Anti-wrinkle injections use a purified protein that, when injected into wrinkle-causing muscles, temporarily softens facial lines leading to a more youthful look.

They are most commonly used to treat frown lines, forehead lines and lines around the eyes known as “crow's feet.” They can also be used to treat gummy smile, an overactive masseter muscle (that leads to clenching and grinding of the teeth), drooping of the corners of the mouth and “bunny lines” in the bridge of the nose.

It takes 3-14 days to work and you can expect the results to last up to 4 months.

A consultation must be undertaken with cosmetic injector Olivia Raffills before any treatment, to determine your areas of concern and what outcomes you can expect from the treatment. During this appointment photos will be taken, your existing skin condition discussed, and you may be advised to have a consultation with a beauty therapist to discuss improving the condition of your skin. A treatment plan and quote will be prepared for you, and the risks and benefits discussed in detail. Once you are fully informed you can decide if you would like to proceed.

Anti-wrinkle injections are administered with a super-fine needle so discomfort at the injection site is minimal, perhaps a slight sting at some sites and almost no sensation at others. Your appointment will last about 15 minutes and you will receive a comprehensive post-injection care sheet so you know how to look after yourself for the rest of the day.
